Why is this work important?
A Haitian proverb says “Ti moun se avni peye’an” (Children are the future of the country). I translate it instead children are the hope of the future. As a photographer your work is often focused on recording the present in order to preserve the past. While this is a critical part of my life’s work, I also find it important to ensure that part of the work I am doing is paving the way for a brighter future. Photography based facilitation allows me to work with youth as they shape their visions for their own futures. Along side the young people I work with, I myself continue to evolve, my interests, passions, and projects change, but each one captures an essential element of my journey.

Where do you offer services?
I work primarily out of Atlanta and New York City though I intermittently travel to different locations.
What should I wear?
Wear what makes you feel the most comfortable. If you often get complimented in a particular outfit or color its always a good idea to consider that as a main option. During your session you can make up to three changes so going for a bit of variety can help make your final product appropriate for different situations.
What else should I bring?
Please bring your best self. Come ready to explore and have fun. That also means that you should try to get full nights of sleep for as many days prior to the shoot as possible and also stay hydrated.
Music that you love always helps make the environment more welcoming. Concealer/powder/foundation can be helpful as well as additional hair product and lip balm or lip stick.
What exactly happens during a session?
The basic session lasts between 2-3 hours including time spent making wardrobe and hair changes.
Proofs are available within 5 business days. From these proofs you will select up to five* (5) photos to be retouched and enhanced.
*Additional retouched photos can be purchased.
Where do we shoot?
During our consultation we will discuss appropriate locations for the imagery you would like to create. We shoot at whatever location is most appropriate whether it be your apartment or a studio.
How much does all this cost?
A basic session (2-3 hours) costs $500 USD.
Reduced fees are available for groups of 3 or more and for repeat customers.
