It’s a pleasure to see the energy that with which participants throw themselves into drills after they finish their cleaning. I literally would drop dead after 15 minutes of drills but the coaches do a great job of getting the kids to really push themselves.

I take a particular joy in watching one coach work with his group of girls. Having coached girls soccer in the states for two seasons, I truly appreciate GOALS commitment to also nurturing female athletes. Interviewing Nadege, a local female staffer, my eyes were opened to the challenges faced by women who want to be active in soccer in Haiti. It is a wonderful things that goals does in creating a space for girls like Naomi, who some of you may remember from last year, to prosper in.

Can’t wait to release the Naomi project, a series of film pictures taken by Naomi. for now I hope you can content yourself with some pictures I took
