Each family shoot leaves its own mark in my soul. Being given the opportunity to step into a family to record the infectious personalities, marked differences, and string of love which holds them together is a challenge and blessing I hold quite dear. The essence of this family shoot literally spanned generations. I was honored to shoot Ernso’s family, a childhood friend of my father from Jeremie, Haiti. Every single member of this family was easy to fall in love with. From their youngest son, Carl’s spontaneous bursts of prized humor- which always lighten the mood, to Ernso’s passion for his family, country and the work he undertakes, to Gina, who literally hold this eclectic bunch together. A unique but wonderful blend, this group made it all too easy to capture their own particular personality. Enjoy this peek into their world. 🙂
