If I have learned anything in my years of perfecting this simple shot, it is that creating a space that allows the person to be just THEM is the most important thing. A huge camera- at times makes a subject uncomfortable, how easy it is to forget who we are. But my job is to allow them to forget the camera and simply be in the moment. Plus who could go wrong with such wonderful children?
